Backstab
My first ever game, so go easy. I know it's not much, it's just a single level, but it's more of a taste of the potential of this idea... and my own lack of ability to properly build it yet.
This is a 2D Platformer "Puzzle" Game where you play as an exceptionally weak rogue. Aside from his parkour skills, he doesn't have many skills that he can use to progress through this multi-platform region. Additionally, every enemy he's facing is so much stronger than him! Anytime he tries to attack, they easily deflect him and fight back when he's down. Thankfully, he does have one strength... his stealth and intelligence. All his enemies tend to be stupid, so he finds that getting behind the enemy to backstab them is the only way to defeat them.
Credits for the Art, Sound, and Fonts go to the Toy Box Jam 2025. Controls are given in the game.
Features... eh. Not much, really. Like I said, this is my first game, and this is just a prototype at this point. I'll be developing it soon enough. If you consider the tons of bugs a feature, then sure, take that.

I say it's a great first game! Everything works as intended (physics, movement, menus, and win state) so congratulations on your first step into game dev, looking forward to seeing your progress.
Everything so far is clean and works well, as for your first project, congratulations you smashed it, keep up the good work :)
for left and right, you can use either the A and D keys or the left and right cursor keys. all controls are on the top-left corner of the game.
